One of the great icons of the city and the connection point between the walled city and the lively neighbourhood of Getsemaní, an impressive construction attached to the wall with a large clock and a yellow tower. Just beyond the gate of the tower we find the beautiful Plaza de Los Coches, filling the space with flavour with the Portal de Los Dulces, where you can enjoy all the typical flavours of the region.

Considered as the most outstanding example of civil architecture in Cartagena de Indias in the 17th century, the Historical Museum of Cartagena offers through different spaces the possibility of getting to know the richness of colonial architecture, the history and presence of the Inquisition Tribunal in the memory of the city and a journey through the different stages of the history of Cartagena.
